The purpose of Word-filled Wednesday is to share God’s Word (no famous quotes or other literature—only the beautiful word of our Father) through photos & a Bible verse!
And they said,
Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,
whose top may reach unto heaven;
and let us make us a name,
lest we be scattered abroad
upon the face of the whole earth.
~ Genesis 11:4
This past Sunday, our 9-year-old son built this tower out of Lincoln Logs at my parents' home. He asked me to take pictures and include a verse for Word-filled Wednesday on the tower of Babel. Amen, your photo is nice...it fits the verse. I love it.
What a great verse. Blessings to you and happy WFW
amen.. nice tower built by your son.. On the tower of Babel, how we need to reminded that God does not want us to build a name of our own, as His name is beyond all names. Building a tower out of our strength will scatter and divide us which would frustrate God's building..
Happy WFW!!!
I love that your son built the tower and asked you to use it for WFW. Brilliant!
photo and verse go together perfectly. happy wfw!
Your son did a great job! May this verse remind people that they can never reach God/heaven by themselves/work/effort. Only by His grace through Jesus Christ alone, we are reconciled to God and have a permanent home in heaven.
Bless you.
