Show & Tell - Haircut

For this week’s Show & Tell, I’m posting a few pictures of my recent haircut. Since I hadn’t darkened the doors of a hair salon since last September, it was definitely time for a change. Here’s a before picture, showing how long my hair had grown in six month’s time.

And here’s a photo after my hairdresser gave me an inverted bob.

Seeing this haircut from the side gives a better view of the inversion, shorter in back and longer in front.

My boys get used to seeing me a certain way and think I look weird after a haircut. They even found a Lego mini-figure that they call Mom.

The day after, though, Mom's hair looks normal to the boys and life can proceed as usual.

Wow - what does your hubby think? If you've been married long enough, he'll know the right thing to say about your haircuts, right?

I am growing mine out for Locks of Love. It's been 14 months since I had it cut... ((sigh)) Just a few more to go!

You look beautiful with all of your haircuts Lisa. Honest!

I love your haircut! It looks great! That's too funny about your boys. Kids don't like moms hair to change. They're funny about that. I am going to get mine cut in the next week.

Love the Lego figure!
Take care my friend!

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone!

Victorious1 - My hubby doesn't say much about my hair, either good or bad. He determined that keeping quiet is the best course of action. :)

That's great you are donating your hair. Did you know you could sell your hair too? It may be a good way to make some $.

Lisa, I forgot to say that the last time I cut my hair really short, my girls told me that I looked like my mother and mother-in-law. I wasn't sure whether to feel glad or offended. :-) Not that they have ugly hair--I just don't want to look 55 yet! lol
