Last Friday night I attended our annual ladies' event known as Moonlight Madness. In addition to food demonstrations and games, we had a makeover lesson with our Mary Kay lady. This makeover contained a twist, however, in that the makeup artists were blindfolded while applying our powder. As one of two fortunate volunteers to receive a makeover, we started with some eye shadow.
A nurse by day, Deb deftly applied some olive green eye shadow that matched my complexion.
Meanwhile, stunning Sarah applied purple powder to Tara's eyelids and then retro red on her cheeks.
The last step was applying the lipstick. I was fortunate to have my blossom lipstick match my shirt.
Tara's retro red turned out a bit darker.
Here's the final result, with Tara being a good sport.
As the makeover session concluded, we posed with our makeup artists and our Mary Kay lady for a final photo shoot. Afterward, Tara and I hurried to the bathroom to see what all the laughter was about. All in all, it was a fun (and late) night of food and fellowship with our cheerful church friends.

OH how fun! I've never seen that as a party game before. I'll have to remember it :o) So glad you were such a good sport!
Such a cute idea for a game! Those nights are so much fun and a really memorable time when the ladies kinda let go and have a ball.
You were a good sport Lisa:)
