Show & Tell - Lego Creations

As a homeschooling mom of two busy boys, you can imagine how beautifully my home is decorated—with small, colorful plastic pieces called Legos! The boys' Lego creations cover the living room floor and creep into my computer room. I don’t usually mind, as long as I have a path in which to walk through.

This Friday I’m sharing some of their recent creations that they'll be submitting to Lego Magazine for possible publication. Our 11-year-old wants to be a Lego designer while our 8-year-old talks of being a Lego pricer when he grows up.

Here’s the Passenger Plane that our 11-year-old designed.

With the roof removed, you can see the pilots and passengers inside.

Our 8-year-old calls this creation the Colonel’s Starfighter.

He also built an M-Wing Spaceship.

I love Lego! Not for myself, but for children. I like toys that make them use their creative minds. My son (now 23) played with them for hours when he was a kid. I just bought a set for my four year old grandson.
Your boys did a nice job on their creations.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Lego...I remember those from my boy's childhood, he so loved them. They've improved over the years tho, I must admit.

My show n tell is offered for viewing, won't you stop by sometime today and keep me company?

Have a terrific Friday and wonderful weekend.

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone!

Luke - You are right about the B-wing. Our 8-year-old started out making a B-wing but modified it so the wings look more like an M. Now he insists on calling it an M-wing. :)
