Tackle It Tuesday - Lunch for Eleven

This week's tackle involved making lunch for eleven, the four in our family and seven of our closest friends. Our friends now have a blog, however it is private so you'll have to email Mere de 6 for access.

For our lunch we served barbecue duck, potato rolls, salad, and fruit. The adventurous tried the pig ear and chicken feet, though many of us stuck with the duck. I refrained from taking pictures of these interesting items, but rather took a few photos after washing a load of dishes. I let the pans soak and washed them later, after dinner.
Our 11-year-old son Scooter built this Lego man which he affectionately dubbed "Mr. Blackberry" after his friends' dad. Mr. Blackberry comes complete with a Bluetooth headset, a big smile, and a Blackberry in his hand.

What are you tackling today?

Mine looks full a lot - it seems like every time i get the dishes done, somehow, it fills right back up! I'm tempted to always use paper =p!

hope you have a great lunch! :) hehe I used to think 11 was a lot, but really for us with a family of 6, it doesnt take much to fill up the house!

I've never had duck, pig's ear, or chicken feet. But, I'd try them. Glad you had a fun lunch. This is what I'm currently tackling - getting ready to move. We've been in this house for 7 years and collected a bunch of stuff. I've got the kids going through everything and organizing what they want to keep and get rid of.
